At Freedom With Nutrition, I believe in transparency and helping you feel informed about the financial side of your care. As part of that commitment, you have the right to request and receive a Good Faith Estimate outlining the expected costs of services.
This estimate includes the anticipated charges for any scheduled, non-emergency services—such as nutrition counseling sessions and any related fees.
You’re entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate at least one business day before your scheduled service. You can also request an estimate at any time—before committing to care—so you can make fully informed decisions.
If you ever receive a bill that is $400 or more above the estimate you were given, you have the right to dispute that charge through the No Surprises Act.
I recommend keeping a copy or screenshot of any estimate you receive for your records.
For more information about your rights under this law, you can visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises. If you have questions about appointment billing or need help understanding your estimate, feel free to reach out directly through my Contact page.
