Please note that a 72-hour business day notice is required to cancel or reschedule your session. This ensures we can best accommodate other clients who may need support.
Late cancellations outside of this window or no-shows will incur the full session fee if the cancellation is not made at least 72 business hours in advance. This is a no-exceptions policy in order to maintain consistency for all clients and ensure fairness.
In addition, all intake forms must be completed and submitted at least 72 business hours prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for review. This also includes providing a valid form of payment on file.
Please note: Your credit card may be preauthorized for your appointment cost up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. By submitting your intake forms and agreeing to the payment policy, you acknowledge that you will not dispute the charge with your credit card company for valid services rendered or in accordance with the no show/cancellation policy.
I do not double-book my clients. Your scheduled time is reserved specifically for you, so I ask that you respect this time.
I do not complete disability evaluations, court-related documentation, or legal forms. These types of paperwork must be handled by a licensed psychologist or qualified professional who specializes in forensic or legal assessments.
Please allow up to 48 business hours for a response to emails or portal messages. I appreciate your patience and will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please note: the services I provide do not replace medical care from your primary care physician (PCP) or mental health care from a licensed therapist. While individual needs vary, many clients benefit from working with a therapist in addition to an eating disorder dietitian like myself.
It's common to require periodic check-ins with your PCP to monitor physical health and safety. My role is to support you in the nutrition and eating behavior aspects of recovery, while collaborating—when appropriate—with other providers on your care team.
A multidisciplinary approach is often the most effective way to support meaningful, lasting eating disorder recovery.
When requesting a new patient appointment, I encourage you to review the Practice Policies form carefully to ensure Freedom With Nutrition is a good fit for your needs. Full policies will be provided as part of your intake paperwork and must be reviewed and signed prior to beginning care. Our goal is to foster a respectful client-provider relationship that is sustainable and supportive.
